Providing services to persons with disabilities and reduced mobility: for passenger service staff
Intended for airport ground handling staff engaged in passenger servicing.
Purpose: to train airport ground handling staff engaged in all types of passenger servicing to provide services to persons with disabilities and reduced mobility in accordance with EC Regulation No 1107/2006 and ECAC Doc. 30.

Term of validityHaving completed the training, participants receive a certificate, which is valid for 2 years.

When do I have the recurrent training?Enrolment in the recurrent training is possible within the last 3 calendar months before the initial certification expires. If the employee has been absent for 6 to 12 months, they must undergo the recurrent training; for 12 or more months, they must undergo the initial training.

Elīna gained the professional skills she needed to acquire an instructor qualification at the International Air Transport Association (IATA). She teaches and develops training programmes in ground handling, as well as teaches courses in customer service and assisting persons with disabilities.

Juris develops and teaches training programmes in ground handling. He has received an instructor qualification for assisting persons with disabilities and on regulations governing the carriage of dangerous goods.

Aviva Gavare
Aviva Gavare
Aviva has completed a number of training courses provided by Airports Council International (ACI), the International Air Transport Association (IATA), and various airlines. Aviva is a certified instructor for programmes teaching airport staff how to assist persons with disabilities and reduced mobility (PRM). She conducts various ground handling courses and participates in the development of training programmes.
